撒母耳记上26章：大卫第二次不害扫罗
一。谁告诉扫罗王大卫藏起来在旷野前的哈基拉山？
二。西弗的旷野位置在希伯仑的东南，离希伯仑大约十公里的距离。请查《圣经》地图，寻找希伯仑。
三。扫罗王带着几位军人去寻找大卫？
四。大卫找到扫罗王时，扫罗在做什么？谁跟着大卫？

十六。请思考以下的问题：扫罗和大卫，谁“强”，谁“弱”？害扫罗或不害扫罗，哪样难？我的意思是，从道德观点来说，哪样难？害扫罗，大卫既有能力又有机会。“报仇”容易；“克制”难。在《圣经》里，虽然不能说没有报仇这回事，事实上，特别在新约里，报仇不是一件美德，也不是一件神看为善之事。神说“伸冤报应在我”——申命记32:35；参看罗马书12:17-21。
十七。请问：今天的您/我比较象谁？比较象扫罗呢？比较象大卫？在我们心里深处，我们要下手伤害我们的敌人呢？还是把事情交托给神，慢慢地等待他的时间？

I Samuel Chapter Twenty-six
1. Who told King Saul that David was hiding on the hill of Hachilah?
2. The Wilderness of Ziph is located about ten kilometers southeast of Hebron. Find Hebron on a Bible map.
3. How many soldiers did King Saul take with him to search for David?
4. What was Saul doing when David found him? Who was with David?
5. Vs. 8-11: “Abishai said to David, ‘God has given your e___ into your hand today; now therefore let me pin him to the ground with one s___ of the s___; I will not s___ him twice.’ But David said to Abishai, ‘Do not d___ him; for who can raise his hand against the LORD’s av, and be g___?’ David said, ‘As the LORD lives, the LORD will strike him down; or his day will come to die; or he will go down into battle and perish. Vs. 24-25: David spoke to the King: “’As your life was p___ today in my sight, so may my life be p___ in the sight of the LORD, and may he rescue me from all tribulation.’ Then Saul said to David, ‘B___ be you, my son David! You will do many things and will s___ in them.’ So David went his way, and Saul returned to his place” (NRSV).
15. Apply this chapter, the record of how David spared Saul’s life a second time, to your own life. (See also Matthew chapter 18.)
16. Consider this question: Of Saul and David, who was “strong,” and who was “weak”? Which was more difficult, to harm Saul or not to harm him? My meaning is, from the viewpoint of morality, which was more difficult? David had both opportunity and ability to harm Saul. “Vengeance” comes easy; “self-control” is difficult. While it cannot be said that vengeance is unheard of in the Bible, the fact is that, especially in the New Testament, vengeance is not seen as a virtue, nor is it something that God smiles upon. “Vengeance is mine,” says God in Deuteronomy 32:35; see also Romans 12:17-21.
17. Whom do you and I today seem more like? Saul or David? In the depths of our hearts, do we wish to harm our enemies? Or, do we turn the problem over to God and await his time?
