因“他”的名而屈膝
有些名字，当人们提起时，会引起你的注意。有些广为人知的名字，只要一提起，你就知道这个人是谁。总统，国家主席，教皇，可能是你我都知道的一些名字。然而，有这样的一个名字，它使得魔鬼战兢而逃（雅各书2:19)。有这样一个名字，它所拥有的权柄能打败魔鬼，使魔鬼逃离躲避。有这样一个名字，一切的受造物在这个名字前都是赤露敞开的。有这样一个名字，它在一切的名字之上，当提到这个名字时，万膝都要谦卑跪下（腓立比书2:10)。这个名字就是耶稣的名。无论你此时在什么地方，处于什么样的环境中，我都希望你能知道，奉这个名字而祷告——耶稣的名——意味着我们可以完完全全相信，凡藉着他的名求神，神就会回应我们的所需。当我们祷告时藉着耶稣的名祷告时，这宇宙的神，全能的神，充满着无限智慧的神将倾听我们的请求。今天，让我们一起深信不疑地祷告吧。

36 WE BOW AT THE MENTION OF HIS NAME
There are some names that when they are mentioned, you take notice. There are some people who are so widely known that when their name is spoken, you know who they are. President George W. Bush, President Hu Jintao, former Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein, the Pope and Tony Blair might be some of those names you and I would know. There is a name that causes demons to tremble and flee (James 2:19). There is authority in one name that causes the devil to run away and hide in defeat. There is a name to whom the entire creation holds its very existence. It is a name that is above every name. When the name is mentioned, every knee should bow in humility (Philippians 2:10). That name is the name of Jesus. Wherever you are at this moment, whatever your circumstances, I want you to know that to pray in this name—the name Jesus—means that we can with full assurance know that everything His name represents will bring God’s answers to our needs. Through the name of Jesus when we pray, the all powerful and all wise God of the universe listens to our requests. Let us with confidence join together in prayer today.
